DESCRIPTION: Contains typescript of report by MFH produced for the Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Expeditionary Force Psychological Warfare Division, entitled, "Combat Propaganda by Leaflet Shell." Introduction begins as follows: "This manual was compiled in April, 1944 by Captain Martin F. Herz, (Chief of Leaflet Section and Interrogation) and Lieutenant Alfred J. DeGrazia (Corps Liaison Officer) of the Fifth Army team of P.W.B. It attempts to give a description of how leaflet propaganda by shell was carried on with the Fifth Army, in addition giving a few points which it was thought were suggested by experence. Due to the fact that no one within reach of the team seemed interested in the study at that time, it is only now receiving a liited distribution in the hope that some of its information may be found useful..."
